Getting to $10k Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) is the hardest phase of a B2B startup. It requires a completely different skillset than getting from $10k to $100k. At this stage, automation is your enemy.

Hand-to-Hand Combat

In the beginning, you don't have enough data for SEO. You don't have the domain authority for inbound. You have one thing: hustle.

  • Cold DM: Not spam. Genuine questions to potential users. Ask them about their pain, not your product.
  • Concierge Onboarding: Get on a Zoom call with every single signup. Watch them struggle with your UI. Fix it that night.
  • Manual Features: If a user needs a report, generate it manually and email it. Don't build the dashboard yet. Sell the result, not the mechanism.
